Born from an organically farmed vineyard planted in 2017, it is hand-harvested during the cool night hours and crafted without additives or corrective interventions, undergoing spontaneous fermentations and ageing for 15 months on fine lees in French oak barrels.
ON THE PALATE
Bright straw yellow in colour, the nose reveals intense citrus aromas intertwined with flinty mineral notes; on the palate it is rich and enveloping, supported by vibrant acidity that leads to a long, elegant and remarkably persistent finish.
EVENTS IT MAKES MAGICAL
A wine to be shared with those who appreciate depth, history, and the privilege of experiencing something truly irreplaceable.
Chosen as Portugal’s Best White Wine of 2024, Morgado de Oliveira represents the ultimate expression of António Maçanita’s vision: a rare wine born from one of Évora’s oldest vineyard sites, capable of winning over the country’s most respected wine critics.
